Job summary

Landmarc is seeking a dynamic site leader to direct facilities, training areas and operational services across the Defence Training Estate. You will manage a multi-skilled team, ensuring safety, compliance and readiness to support UK military training.

This role offers broad responsibility for people, facilities and service delivery within a unique environment that directly supports the Armed Forces. You will lead performance, wellbeing, and safety planning, manage budgets and contractor

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification in people management, operational leadership or facilities management
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, including risk assessments, COSHH and safe systems of work
• Skilled in planning workloads, managing resources and balancing competing priorities
• Proactive approach to problem solving, service improvement and operational delivery
• Effective stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Budget management and workforce planning capability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems, maintaining records and producing reports
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team, supporting performance, wellbeing, capability and Health & Safety Plan workloads
• Allocate resources and coordinate site operations
• Manage budgets for operations, training, PPE and equipment
• Ensure training areas, accommodation and estate facilities remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose
• Carry out inspections and identify maintenance and service delivery requirements
• Manage contractors and service providers to deliver work safely and to standard
• Support training bookings, facility handovers and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate operational, personnel, equipment and Health & Safety records
• Build effective relationships with military customers, stakeholders and partner organisations
• Support estate projects and revenue generating activities
