Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a STEM discipline with CEng or CSEP, or working towards registration.
• Experience applying systems engineering within complex defence or regulated environments.
• Understanding of systems engineering lifecycles, governance and standards (ISO 15288).
• Experience in requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification or validation activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles, standards and best practice across the engineering lifecycle.
• Support requirements management, ensuring traceability through design, verification and validation.
• Contribute to system architecture, design and integration activities on complex programmes.
• Support technical reviews, trade studies and engineering decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Apply digital engineering approaches, including MBSE where appropriate, to support analysis and communication.
• Contribute to project planning, risk management and programme delivery activities.
• Develop knowledge of MOD acquisition processes and KiD, while communicating technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
