Job summary

AtkinsRéalis AEDC seeks a Systems Engineer to deliver solutions across defence and critical infrastructure programmes in the UK. You will work in multidisciplinary teams, applying MBSE and traditional systems engineering to manage requirements, architecture and integration.

You’ll contribute to technical reviews, risk management and programme delivery while communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Hybrid working with security-enabled environments is offered.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in a STEM discipline, with CEng, CSEP or working towards professional registration.
Experience applying systems engineering within complex engineering, defence or regulated environments.
Understanding of systems engineering lifecycles, governance and ISO 15288.
Experience in requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification or validation.

Responsibilities

Apply systems engineering principles across the lifecycle and standards.
Support requirements management with traceability through design, verification and validation.
Contribute to system architecture, design and integration on complex programmes.
Support technical reviews, trade studies and engineering decision-making.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
