Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited (BDUK) is seeking a Systems Engineering Support Analyst to join an established team of Operational Analysts across the UK defence spectrum. The role focuses on delivering defensible analysis and optimisation studies for BDUK and wider Boeing Global Services markets.

The position requires a mathematical background with knowledge of OR, statistics and Systems Engineering, plus willingness to learn MBSE and support governance and customer reporting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Operational Research techniques for problem solving and Statistical techniques for exploratory analysis.
• Understanding of Project Management techniques.
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance at SC.
• Good written and oral communications skills in English.

Responsabilités

• Market Analysis; reviewing potential military uses of Boeing produced through quantitative means to support growth of BGS into new and existing markets.
• Force Structures Analysis; using OR techniques to develop understanding of future defence requirements and identify capability gaps.
• Platform Level Assessment; apply quantitative techniques to support down-selecting platform options and identify measures of effectiveness.
• Cost Analysis; high-level cost analysis to provide empirical measures for trade studies and comparison, including forecasting and optimization for supply chain and maintenance.
