Job summary

Turner & Townsend in London seeks a Project Controls Manager to lead the programme controls for Defence projects across London and the south of England. Applicants ideally hold security clearance or can obtain it.

You will monitor plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting, align resources, and ensure data standards in cost and performance systems. The role requires experience in planning, scheduling, and use of Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling functions (schedule development, control, and analysis).
• Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start-up work processes.
• Security clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering project controls across Defence projects in London and the south of England.
• Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting.
• Reviewing new project proposals/remits and ensure realistic, resourceable delivery plans.
• Identify resourcing requirements to support the programme and liaise with planning functions to resolve issues.
• Provide an efficient day-to-day service to the Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance.
• Monitor data input by project teams to cost and performance systems to meet data standards.
• Manage the production of the Investment Plan.
• Comply with the Investment Competence Framework.
