Job summary

Turner & Townsend is expanding its Defence project controls team in the UK, covering Midlands, North and Scotland. The Project Controls Manager will lead programme controls across complex defence portfolios, ensuring accurate cost, schedule, safety and performance reporting.

Applicants ideally hold security clearance or be able to obtain it, with extensive experience in planning and construction management.

Qualifications

Experience in planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control.
Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications.
Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office; knowledge of procurement and contracts.

Responsibilities

Deliver project controls expertise across Defence projects in Midlands, North & Scotland.
Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring plans, cost, safety, environment and performance.
Review new project proposals/remits and develop realistic, resourceable delivery plans.
Identify resourcing requirements and liaise with planning functions to resolve issues.
Provide day-to-day reporting to Programme and Project Managers on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance.
Monitor data input to cost and performance systems to meet required standards.
Produce the Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework.
