Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Controls Manager in the UK to lead cross‑discipline teams on high‑risk, high‑complexity defence or infrastructure programmes. You will define the scope, establish a robust baseline, and drive change control in collaboration with the Integrated Project Team.

You will manage supplier performance data, ensure scope/cost/risk/schedule integration, and mentor staff. On-site work 2–3 days weekly with UK travel may be required; MoD clearance eligibility is

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering projects in defence or infrastructure.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience in two or more project controls disciplines and related tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-discipline project controls teams on high risk, high complexity projects.
• Define scope with exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, dependencies; establish WBS.
• Establish robust performance baselines and manage change control.
• Collaborate with suppliers and Integrated Project Team to integrate performance data.
• Ensure integration of scope, cost, risk and schedule; provide analytics for decisions.
• Mentor and develop team members; promote governance and auditable decision making.
