Job summary

Babcock International Group in Scotland is inviting applicants for the Project Controls Graduate Programme. Over two years, you will rotate through planning & scheduling, cost management, risk & opportunity management, and project reporting while supporting governance and forecasting.

Starting September 2027 at HM Naval Base Clyde, you’ll gain structured training, mentorship, and exposure to defence programmes, with on-site work and pathways to permanent Project Controls roles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Risk Management, Construction Management, Finance, Economics, Project Management, Data Science, Maths, Statistics, Business Management, IT Management, Sciences or Engineering.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop core Project Controls skills across planning, cost, risk and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support scheduling, cost control and progress reporting on live projects.
• Analyse project data to forecast performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist governance and decision-making with regular reports and insights.
• Participate in rotations across Planning, Cost Control, Risk Management and Project Reporting.
