You'll work closely with maintenance teams, project specialists and customers to help identify safety, compliance and lifecycle priorities.

You'll also support refurbishment and capital projects, from carrying out snagging inspections on newly completed facilities to helping develop proposals for larger works such as roof replacements and building upgrades.

Working on a unique and complex defence estate, you'll develop the technical knowledge, professional judgement and stakeholder management skills needed for a successful career in building surveying. And with a £250 million investment underway to modernise Clyde's infrastructure, this is an exciting time to join us.

How is the programme structured?

This two-year programme is designed to develop your technical expertise, professional skills and understanding of the built environment through a blend of practical experience and supported learning.

We'll support your journey towards becoming a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), funding professional membership, providing a mentor and offering study leave.

When you complete the programme, you’ll move into a permanent role within our Surveying function, where you can continue applying and expanding the skills you’ve developed.
