Job summary

Babcock's Project Controls Graduate Programme in Scotland offers rotations across Planning & Scheduling, Cost Management, Risk & Opportunity Management, Project Reporting, Governance and Assurance. Starting salary is a minimum of £35,000 with progression through two-year placements across live defence projects at HM Naval Base Clyde.

Qualifications

• Degree in one of the subjects listed (Risk Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Finance, Economics, Project Management, Data Science, Maths, Statistics, Business Management, Information/IT Management, Sciences, or Engineering).
• Must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS and Security Check (SC) security clearance.
• For this programme, eligibility may depend on birthplace, nationality, citizenship or residency as per UK security rules.
• Location: HM Naval Base Clyde, Scotland, with on-site work and some flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Help keep defence programmes on track, within budget and meeting objectives.
• Provide analysis and forecasting to understand performance, manage risk and plan effectively.
• Develop and maintain schedules, monitor costs and progress, assess risks and opportunities.
• Produce forecasts and reports supporting governance and decision-making.
