Job summary

First Military Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading supplier of advanced communications, tactical intelligence and uncrewed systems to the Defence and security sectors. The Platform Support & Installation Engineer will install, integrate, test and commission RF and electronic equipment on UK naval platforms, diagnose faults, and support in-service operations.

Qualifications

• Defence engineering in naval, maritime or military aviation environment.
• Strong RF, radio communications, electronic surveillance or electronic warfare knowledge.
• Proven fault diagnosis, repair, test and installation experience with RF test equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and UK security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, test and commission RF and electronic equipment on UK naval platforms.
• Diagnose faults and provide in-service support.
• Plan and coordinate deployments and deputise for the project technical lead when needed.
• Produce clear engineering documentation, test procedures and fault reports.
