Job summary

NRL in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a major defence infrastructure programme. You will administer NEC4 PSC contracts, manage early warnings and compensation events, and provide commercial governance in a highly regulated environment.

The role is hybrid, based in Glasgow with on-site presence 3–5 days per week, and you’ll be engaged via umbrella or PAYE on a 12-month inside IR35 contract with competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Extensive NEC4 experience, ideally PSC, with strong grasp of contract administration.
• Current SC clearance or eligible to obtain it.
• British sole nationality, as required by project restrictions.
• Proven commercial and contractual experience within large infrastructure or defence projects.
• Ability to work in a joint-venture environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer NEC4 Professional Services Contracts (PSC) including early warnings and compensation events.
• Provide commercial governance and maintain contractual compliance.
• Support change management processes across the programme.
• Engage stakeholders and manage interfaces in a joint-venture environment.
• Monitor cost control and contract performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to security and regulatory requirements.
