Job summary

Babcock International Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Rosyth to lead commercial delivery on major defence infrastructure projects. You will manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting across the project lifecycle, while administering NEC4 contracts and advising stakeholders.

Hybrid working with majority onsite membership during probation, and security clearance required. Join a UK defence leader to shape critical capabilities and project success.

Qualifications

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within construction or infrastructure.
• Experience managing project costs, budgets, forecasting and financial reporting across the project lifecycle.
• Strong NEC contract administration experience, including compensation events, early warnings, change control and payment applications.
• Experience managing commercial risk, contractor performance and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects, ideally valued between £5 million and £100 million

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial and financial performance of construction and infrastructure projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Administering NEC4 contracts, including compensation events, early warnings, change control and payment applications.
• Preparing and maintaining project budgets, forecasts, cost reports and financial performance reviews.
• Providing commercial advice and risk management support to project teams and key stakeholders.
• Supporting procurement activities while building strong relationships with contractors, suppliers and client representatives
