Job summary

VIVO Defence Services in Salisbury is seeking a Building Services Manager to lead mechanical engineering services across a demanding defence estate, ensuring safety, compliance and efficiency. The role combines technical leadership with governance and stakeholder engagement.

Based in DSTL, Salisbury, the position offers a Monday–Friday pattern with a company vehicle for business and personal use, and a strong focus on regulatory compliance and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical building services maintenance and compliance.
• Knowledge of PSSR, Gas Safe, F-Gas and OFTEC standards is beneficial.
• Ability to manage contractors and coordinate with Defence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant delivery of mechanical engineering services across the estate.
• Oversee maintenance, inspection and testing activities to high standards.
• Act as Mechanical and PETS Authorised Person as required, with governance & safety focus.
