VIVO Defence Services is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the safe, compliant delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the UK MoD contract, ensuring activities meet statutory requirements and VIVO safety standards while hitting performance targets.

Based in Durham with regular travel to cover sites in the North East, you will coordinate operations with supply chain partners, supervise operatives, and maintain CAFM documentation for on-time execution.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in planned and reactive maintenance environments.
• HNC in building/civil/electrical/mechanical with SMSTS or equivalent.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with CAFM systems.
• Ability to manage small projects and coordinate suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Lead safe, compliant delivery of maintenance services across the contract.
• Coordinate day-to-day service delivery with supply chain and regional teams.
• Review risk assessments and method statements; ensure documentation is complete.
• Balance safety culture with commercial awareness and cost management.
• Provide technical advice and maintain stakeholder relationships.
