Job summary

Serco is seeking a Logistics Operative to support essential logistics at RAF Brize Norton, ensuring resources are available where and when needed to support operational activities. You will be part of a collaborative team helping maintain readiness at one of the RAF’s busiest stations.

This full-time role (37 hours) includes a competitive benefits package and opportunities for training. BPSS clearance is required with potential SC clearance depending on duties.

Qualifications

• Experience working in logistics, supply chain or warehouse environments.
• Current driving licence including Category C1 entitlement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work safely following established procedures and standards.
• Forklift licence is desirable; training may be provided.
• Willingness to learn new systems including MJDI training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver logistics activities in line with work instructions and requirements.
• Maintain high safety standards and promote a positive Zero Harm culture.
• Ensure compliance with Serco Management System and relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Use logistics systems and processes to support the movement, storage and issue of materials.
• Identify and report safety, compliance or operational concerns to the appropriate leader.
• Support wider logistics operations and undertake additional reasonable duties as required.
