Serco at RAF Brize Norton is seeking a Driver to deliver safe, efficient transport services for the RAF and MOD. The role involves driving on site, completing daily vehicle checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The 42-hour week runs with 2 days and 2 nights (12-hour shifts) and 4 days off.

Responsibilities include tachograph logs, securing loads, PPE use, and reporting issues. BPSS clearance is required, with higher security clearance possible if needed.

Qualifikationen

• A full driving licence, Category D.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC).
• Ability to meet colour perception standards for an Airfield Driving Permit.
• BPSS clearance required; higher security clearance may be needed.

Aufgaben

• Carry out a full range of driving duties across the site, complying with EU and GB driver regulations.
• Complete tachograph or GB Driver logbooks accurately and carry driver cards as required.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and directives relating to road transport and dangerous goods.
• Drive safely and courteously, securing loads and ensuring passenger safety at all times.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and wear PPE in line with risk assessments.
• Report any damage, accidents, or incidents promptly and in accordance with company policies.
• Participate in training and development activities as directed.
• Notify management of any safety, compliance, or operational issues that could impact service delivery.
