Job summary

Royal Navy is recruiting a Logistics Support Operative for the Defence Munitions team at Sennybridge Training Area. You will manage receipt, storage and issue of munitions, develop expertise in Log IS, and support depot operations under safety guidelines.

Fully site-based, 37 hours a week, with some travel to Kineton for training; security clearance (SC) is required, and a medical check is mandatory before starting.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in a customer-focused team environment with tight timescales.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing processes.
• Basic IT skills using Microsoft Office and logistics systems.
• Evidence of working in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Support wider depot operations and activities following local and departmental policy.
• Adhere to risk assessments relevant to tasks.
• Undertake physical counts of explosives and assets in materiel systems and verify location, quantity and condition.
• Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and perform pre/post use checks.
• Ensure accurate receipt and issue paperwork and document palletised loads.
• Ensure compliance with Safe Handling Instructions and Storage and Handling procedures.
• Assist with logistics, storage and planning to meet customer requirements.
