Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Logistics Support Operator for the Minley site in Hampshire to help ensure training equipment and stores are available when needed, supporting military training in a dynamic defence environment.

The role follows set hours, with potential overtime; you’ll contribute to Combat Engineering Support that underpins Armed Forces readiness while working on site at Minley. A full UK driving licence is required, and BPSS clearance is necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience of manual handling in a practical working environment.
• Ability to swim and work safely in a physically active role.
• Experience working within logistics, stores, warehouse, operational support or similar environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Combat Engineering Support services, including transporting, erecting and dismantling equipment for training activities.
• Carry out equipment maintenance activities in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publications.
• Issue and receive equipment, maintain stock levels and ensuring stores are managed effectively.
• Respond to customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Support audits, inspections, resource management activities and operational requirements across the site.
