Job summary

Serco Limited is recruiting a Logistics Operative to join the RAF Brize Norton Logistics team. You will help receive, store and move essential stock and equipment to support the Royal Air Force and Ministry of Defence, contributing to operational readiness.

Working across warehouse, storage and office spaces, you will handle stock, process deliveries, and maintain accuracy with basic IT systems. A valid UK driving licence and ability to obtain SC clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category B driving licence.
• Experience in a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Team player who delivers good service.
• Basic IT skills and comfortable with computer systems.
• Able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance and colour perception test.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue stock, materials, and equipment to unit sections.
• Process deliveries from external contractors and internal unit sections.
• Maintain stock accuracy through storekeeping and stock control activities.
• Operate material handling equipment, including counterbalance forklifts where authorised.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain safe and efficient working areas.
• Support movement and delivery of materials across the RAF Brize Norton site.

As a Logistics Operative in our RAF Brize Norton Logistics team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Royal Air Force and Ministry of Defence by ensuring essential materials and equipment are received, stored, managed, and distributed efficiently.
