Babcock is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Rosyth, Scotland, to lead commercial activities on major construction and defence projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering major construction and infrastructure projects that support the UK's defence capabilities. Working within our Marine Engineering & Systems business, you'll provide commercial leadership across complex projects valued from £5 million to £100 million+, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and successfully. This is an exciting opportunity to influence high-profile programmes, develop your expertise in NEC4 contracts, and build a rewarding career at the heart of defence, engineering and infrastructure.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
This role is full time, 37 hours per week over 4.5 days, and is based at Rosyth. Hybrid working patterns are available. During your probation period you'll work full time onsite, after which you'll spend a minimum of three days per week onsite with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of your week.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
