Job summary

Brook Street is seeking a hands-on Housing Estates Officer to support housing services across Ministry of Defence properties. You'll visit MOD properties to monitor contractor work, check standards, and then complete the day's admin back at base, ensuring families receive a high level of service.

The role requires a strong work ethic, practical property knowledge and the ability to manage allocated portfolios.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to property and service standards.
• Understanding of property repairs and maintenance basics.

Responsibilities

• Visiting Ministry of Defence properties to monitor contractor work to standard.
• Check property work and escalate if standards aren't met.
• Carry out occupant monitoring and management within an allocated portfolio.
• Conduct handovers to ensure families receive the required level of service.
• Support stakeholder engagement activities as needed.
• Undertake assurance checks on service levels and supplier work.
• Manage complaints (level 2) timely.
• Handle assurance activities for service delivery within limits.
• Maintain workload to agreed standards.
• Support delivery of additional services within delegation and timeframes.
