Job summary

PropRec Search is seeking a Defence Account Director to join a leading UK technology and digital services organisation. You will drive growth across the UK Defence and national security market, taking ownership of business development and capture activity in the Defence sector.

You will work with senior Defence leadership, technical specialists, account teams, partners and industry stakeholders to position the organisation as a trusted partner across secure IT, cyber, data, AI and digital

Qualifications

Significant experience selling into the UK Defence market with established MOD relationships.
Proven track record of year-on-year growth and achieving commercial targets.
Experience leading and winning contracts valued at £25m+.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead business development strategies to meet revenue targets and growth in the UK Defence market.
Build and manage a strategic pipeline aligned with Defence priorities and capabilities.
Develop senior-level relationships across the UK MOD and Defence industry.
Identify opportunities and qualify them to deliver customer value.
Lead major new-business and capture campaigns within Defence.
Collaborate with bid, technical, commercial and delivery teams to create compelling propositions.
Lead bid teams through the capture lifecycle.
Develop partnerships with vendors, partners and consortia.
Build long-term customer relationships and secure follow-on business.
Operate in a multi-functional environment with strong leadership and direction.
