Job summary

EMCOR UK is recruiting in Scarborough for a full-time electrical installations role within our Defence facilities. You will install and modify electrical systems, perform testing to achieve certification, and assist as needed with estimates and project documentation.

We require City & Guilds 2360 and 18th Edition qualifications, plus experience in commercial electrical work and LV distribution. Strong safety focus and ability to work on regulated sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of commercial electrical installations and LV distribution systems.
• Understanding of testing and inspection procedures (C&G 2391).
• Ability to read construction drawings and RAMS documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify electrical components and systems including containment, power and lighting.
• Carry out testing and inspections to enable certification.
• Support the Project Manager with information for estimates and quotations.
• Adhere to safety rules and risk assessments; maintain good engineering practices.
• Install tray, ladder and conduits per drawings; complete mandatory training.
• Provide progress information per Project Programme and RAMS.
• Update red line drawings as works progress.
• Ensure compliance and operate in secure environments per policies.
