Job summary

EMCOR UK is seeking an energetic Electrical Supervisor/Projects lead to ensure safe and compliant electrical installations across customer sites. You will lead a on-site team, manage RAMS and ensure drawings and SORs are followed, while supporting the Project Manager with variations and supplier relations.

The role requires relevant City & Guilds/C&G certifications, LV distribution experience, and a current UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ & C&G 2382 - 10 18th Edition.
C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing.
C&G 2391-20 Design & Verification preferred, or an equivalent will be provided to enable the QS role to be fulfilled.
Experience of commercial electrical installations.
Experience of installation of LV distribution systems.
Experience of DC/UPS system is advantageous but not essential.
Experience of safe working practices and permit to work systems.
First Aid, IPAF and PASMA training will be provided if required but advantageous if already certified.
Management of an on-site team is essential.
Ability to conduct daily briefings and actively ensure SORs & drawings are followed.
UK travel may be required.
Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the EMCOR UK Projects team through effective communication, training and development, ensuring staff members are fully competent and trained to undertake key tasks.
Support and manage with the Project Manager the electrical installation to ensure the SOR and associated drawings are followed.
Develop RAMS for the work to be carried out.
Work with the Project Manager to capture all extra works and assist in producing additional SORs for variations as requested.
Develop partnerships with suppliers to maximise mutual benefit and rationalise the supplier database.
Identify any shortfalls in training with the operatives and work with the administration teams to close these gaps.
Maintain day‑to‑day contact with the customer’s representatives and attend meetings as directed by the Project Manager.
Become a NICEIC Electrical qualifying supervisor and work with the Company NICEIC qualifying manager to ensure documents are completed and issued correctly.
