Job summary

Matchtech in the Bristol area is recruiting a Procurement Contract Manager to support defence clients. The role is hybrid with onsite 1-3 days per week in the Bristol area.

You will lead end-to-end procurement and contract management across defence programmes, develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier engagement, negotiate and support contract awards, and provide commercial advice while ensuring mobilisation and ongoing performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement/contract management in a regulated environment.
• Security Clearance (SC) strongly preferred; support available to obtain.
• MOD/defence procurement experience ideal; public sector backgrounds considered.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of procurement and contract management across defence programmes.
• Support sourcing strategy aligned to commercial and programme priorities.
• Manage supplier engagement, tenders, negotiation and contract award support.
• Provide procurement advice to internal stakeholders throughout lifecycle.
• Support contract mobilisation and ongoing supplier/contract performance management.
• Maintain reporting on progress, risks and commercial outcomes.
