Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Change and Transformation Consultant to support Defence Programme Performance across the UK. The team delivers change across major programmes shaping national infrastructure, defence capability, transport networks, digital transformation and AI.

You will work with clients in a hybrid model, delivering engagements with ownership and high-quality outcomes while navigating complex transformations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting organisational, business, digital or technology change initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing abilities.
• Experience developing and delivering change management plans and interventions.
• Ability to assess organisational impacts and readiness.
• Understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks.
• Experience working within project or programme environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored change management strategies and plans aligned with programme objectives.
• Assess organisational readiness and identify actions required to support successful adoption.
• Analyse the people, process, technology and organisational impacts of change initiatives.
• Identify change risks, dependencies and opportunities that may affect delivery success.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Develop engagement strategies that create understanding, commitment and support for change.
• Design and deliver effective communication plans that clearly articulate the purpose, benefits and impacts of change.
• Support leadership teams in communicating consistently and effectively.
• Identify training and development requirements and deliver learning interventions.
• Measure organisational readiness and adoption; develop readiness assessments and recommendations.
• Support benefits realisation and adoption tracking; embed sustainable improvements.
• Facilitate workshops, focus groups and stakeholder engagement sessions; coach leaders and teams.
