Oasis Academy Brislington in Bristol invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to join our mainstream SEND team. The role focuses on holistic student support, including learning, emotional well-being, and communication and interaction assistance.

The position is part-time (34.17 hours/week) and term-time only, with a pro-rata salary scale and an early start date. Shortlisting and interviews will follow the closing date; specialists in SEND will play a key role in guiding outcomes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 is essential.
• Experience with SEND and able to provide holistic support including learning, emotional and well-being support, and communication and interaction support.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic support to students including learning support, emotional and well-being support, and communication and interaction support.
• Work under SENDCo and Specialist Lead TA to support SEND learners and contribute to parity of achievement.
• Support development through the team’s Professional Development and contribute to inclusive teaching.
