Full Time - 30 Hours

We are recruiting a driven and dynamic Decontamination Manager for Duchy Hospital in Truro.

The role:

Lead the delivery of the Decontamination service at Duchy Hospital in Cornwall.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the ISO 13485 standard decontamination service for reusable medical devices.
• Accountable for the operational performance of the decontamination service.
• Work within a defined budget to ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining quality.
• Operate as an Autonomous Practitioner across all areas.
• Provide leadership and direction to achieve operational objectives.
• Support staff wellbeing and development through effective appraisal processes.

What you will bring:

• Extensive management experience in decontamination.
• Recognised decontamination qualification (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to implement positive change.
• Flexible approach to meet changing needs.
• Management certificate or equivalent (advantage).
