Job summary

Cammach is seeking a Decommissioning Coordinator in Aberdeen on a short-term contract (3–4 months). The role focuses on coordinating meetings, forums and work programmes, maintaining records, and supporting decommissioning projects across the UK Continental Shelf.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating meetings, projects, programmes, events or stakeholder activities in a professional environment.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage several activities and deadlines.
• Ability to prepare clear agendas, meeting notes, action logs, briefings and written updates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail.
• Confidence communicating with colleagues, members and external stakeholders at different levels.
• Ability to gather, organise and summarise information from several sources.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to work independently within agreed priorities while seeking guidance when needed.
• A collaborative, dependable and service‑focused approach.
• Commitment to handling information accurately, appropriately and confidentially.
• Desirable: Experience in offshore energy, oil and gas, engineering, marine, industrial or decommissioning sectors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, forums and working groups for decommissioning activities.
• Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, circulate papers, and track actions.
• Maintain forward plans, membership lists, terms of reference and governance records.
• Collaborate to ensure papers and updates are circulated within timescales.
• Provide timely information to chairs, members and colleagues.
• Support development and maintenance of decommissioning project plans.
