Wates Property Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee SHDF-funded energy efficiency and decarbonisation works within occupied social housing on the Orbit SHF contract in Erith.

You will lead planned maintenance programmes, coordinate subcontractors and internal teams, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery across live environments. This role offers long-term career development within a growing division.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering planned maintenance projects within social housing.
• SHDF project experience is essential.
• Experience managing retrofit, decarbonisation, insulation, windows, doors, ventilation or energy efficiency improvement works.
• Strong track record of managing subcontractors and operational teams within occupied properties.
• SMSTS qualification (essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Responsabilités

• Managing subcontractors, direct labour and site teams.
• Coordinating and monitoring SHDF and retrofit work programmes.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality and contractual requirements.
• Monitoring programme performance and resolving site issues efficiently.
• Building strong relationships with residents, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Managing site logistics, materials and workforce planning.
• Producing progress updates and reporting against project milestones.
