Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead SHDF-funded planned maintenance works on the Orbit SHF contract in Erith. You will oversee energy efficiency and decarbonisation programmes within occupied social housing, coordinating subcontractors and direct labour to deliver safely and on schedule.

Successful candidates will have SMSTS, a full UK driving licence, and a proven track record managing retrofit and energy efficiency improvements in occupied properties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering planned maintenance in social housing (SHDF)
• SMSTS qualification essential; full UK driving licence essential
• Experience managing retrofit/energy efficiency works in occupied properties
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams and maintain safety standards

Responsibilities

• Managing subcontractors, direct labour and site teams.
• Coordinating and monitoring SHDF and retrofit work programmes.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality and contractual requirements.
• Monitoring programme performance and resolving site issues.
• Building relationships with residents, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Managing site logistics, materials and workforce planning.
• Producing progress updates and reporting against project milestones.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering planned maintenance projects within social housing.
• SHDF project experience is essential.
• Experience managing retrofit, decarbonisation, insulation, windows, doors, ventilation or energy efficiency improvement works.
• Strong track record of managing subcontractors and operational teams within occupied properties.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
