Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking a proactive Site Manager to oversee planned maintenance and decarbonisation projects across Herefordshire, including Hereford and Ledbury. You will manage works in occupied social housing, coordinating residents, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver high quality, on‑time outcomes.

The role emphasizes safety, programme delivery and excellent customer service, with opportunities to drive energy efficiency improvements in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social housing planned maintenance projects.
• Experience working in occupied residential properties.
• Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across planned maintenance and retrofit projects.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, direct operatives and suppliers.
• Ensure works stay on programme, budget and quality targets.
• Carry out site inspections and progress reviews.
• Produce site reports and update project programmes.
• Support resident engagement and ensure satisfaction.
