SmartestEnergy Business Limited seeks a proactive credit control professional to manage end-to-end debt management, overdue collections, and payment arrangements while ensuring timely resolutions.
Within established procedures, you will monitor credit terms, trace customers/landlords, and collaborate with Technical and Business Development to support smart meter installations and recover outstanding monies.
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused professional to join our team and play a key role in delivering an efficient, high-quality service. Working within established procedures and service standards, you will manage customer accounts throughout the end-to-end credit control and debt management journey, ensuring enquiries and outstanding balances are followed through to resolution.
The role will involve collecting overdue debt, managing payment arrangements and Direct Debits, monitoring credit terms, tracing customers and landlords, and managing aged debt. You will work closely with internal teams, including Technical and Business Development, to resolve issues quickly and support the successful installation of smart meters and recovery of outstanding monies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, confident communicating with customers, and able to make sound decisions when managing debt and payment arrangements.

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
