Job summary

Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) in Bedford is recruiting a Debt Advice Development Manager. Hybrid working and a permanent role, you will shape debt advice services across the UK, improving customer journeys and driving collaboration with government, creditors and partners.

You will lead initiatives such as SFS, MAN, DALT, and customer journeys, using insight and performance data to inform strategic decisions and deliver positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or improving services within a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of the debt advice sector or related customer-focused services.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
• Experience using data and customer insight to drive improvement.
• Excellent communication and the ability to explain complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of debt advice services, ensuring positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
• Manage strategic debt advice initiatives and improve customer journeys into debt services.
• Build relationships with government departments, creditors, providers and partners to drive collaboration.
• Use customer insight, data and sector intelligence to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Lead projects from discovery through to implementation with multidisciplinary teams.
• Represent MaPS to boost accessibility and quality of debt advice across the UK.
