Job summary

The Recruitment Solution are seeking a qualified accounting professional with leadership skills to join the head office in the Coventry area, working for a major dealership group. You will bring ACA/ACCA/CIMA, 3–6 years PQE in financial accounting, with strong month-end, year-end and financial reporting experience, plus dealership operations knowledge and Autoline DMS expertise.

Job description

The Recruitment Solution are looking for a qualified accounting professional with strong leadership skills and experience within a dealership or automotive retail environment. To work for this excellent main dealer group, at their Head Office based in the Coventry area.

Essential Skills & Experience

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• 3-6 years' post-qualification experience in a financial accounting role.
• Strong experience of month-end, year-end and financial reporting processes.
• Detailed knowledge of dealership accounting and dealership operations.
• Working knowledge of the Autoline Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Positive, proactive and collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
