Job summary

The Recruitment Solution is seeking a qualified accounting professional with leadership skills and strong experience in a dealership or automotive retail environment for their Coventry head office. You will oversee month-end and year-end reporting and work with other departments to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in financial accounting within a dealership/automotive retail environment.
• Proficient in month-end and year-end processes and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of dealership operations and Autoline DMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting activities and ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve controls and processes.
• Support month-end close and year-end reporting with rigorous attention to detail.

Job description

Salary: £50k - 57k per year + Benefits per annum The Recruitment Solution are looking for a qualified accounting professional with strong leadership skills and experience within a dealership or automotive retail environment. To work for this excellent main dealer group, at their Head Office based in the Coventry area.

Essential Skills & Experience

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• 3-6 years' post-qualification experience in a financial accounting role.
• Strong experience of month-end, year-end and financial reporting processes.
• Detailed knowledge of dealership accounting and dealership operations.
• Working knowledge of the Autoline Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Positive, proactive and collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
