Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a main dealer in Coventry. The role offers a Company car scheme, pension contributions, and extensive annual leave, with a 37.5-hour week.

You will lead the accounts team, manage month-end and year-end processes, and prepare management accounts, cash flow, and statutory reporting. Automotive retail accounting and Autoline DMS knowledge are highly regarded.

Qualifikationen

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• 3-6 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Dealership or automotive retail accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Autoline DMS would be beneficial.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and leading the accounts team.
• Managing month-end, year-end and financial reporting processes.
• Preparing and analysing management accounts, P&L, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Ensuring accurate reconciliations, journals and accounting controls.
• Managing intercompany reconciliations and statutory returns.
• Supporting dealerships and Head Office with financial queries and reporting.
• Liaising with internal and external auditors.
• Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
