Cygnet Health is hiring a full-time Care & Support Worker to help deaf service users access recovery opportunities. You will work across a 42-hour week with a mix of 12-hour shifts at the Blackburn Deaf community setting.

Native BSL or Level 2 is required, with training available. The role emphasizes empowering d/Deaf individuals and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Native British Sign Language usage or Signature Level 2 minimum.
• Experience caring for d/Deaf service users preferred.
• Will­ingness to gain BSL Level 2 accreditation through us.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care and emotional support to deaf service users.
• Support medical and welfare needs and report on welfare needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and safeguard the service users.
