Job summary

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) is recruiting a DDaT Support Analyst to join the Service Desk. The role is full-time, permanent, with hybrid working from Fire Service Headquarters in Birkenshaw.

You will deliver high-quality ICT support to colleagues, resolving incidents and requests, maintaining systems, and ensuring reliable ICT services across the organisation. The post requires NVQ Level 3 in a computer-related subject or equivalent experience.

DDaT Support Analyst.

Full-time, Permanent

Fire Service Headquarters, Birkenshaw, BD11 2DY, plus hybrid working.

£32,597 to £33,699 per annum (National pay award pending)

You can help West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service by joining our friendly Service Desk team within Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT), supporting colleagues and communities across West Yorkshire.

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality technical support and guidance to colleagues, helping to ensure the effective operation, maintenance and continuous availability of ICT systems and services across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

You will deliver first-line technical support and user guidance, resolve ICT incidents and requests, carry out routine system maintenance, and help ensure DDaT service delivery meets agreed performance targets while providing an excellent customer experience.

Essential requirements

You will have demonstrable experience of working within a technical Service Desk or IT support environment, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and be educated to NVQ Level 3 in a computer-related subject or possess equivalent relevant experience or training.

We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working. Whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you’ll work both in the office and from home as part of our ‘hybrid’ working model. Therefore, applicants must have a reliable home internet connection.
