Job summary

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a DDaT Support Analyst to provide high-quality technical support and guidance across ICT systems. The role blends office and home-based work in a hybrid model, with training provided to ensure smooth operation and service continuity.

You will join a friendly Service Desk within DDaT, delivering first-line support, incident resolution and routine maintenance while maintaining excellent customer experience and adherence to targets.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of working within a technical Service Desk or IT support environment.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Be educated to NVQ Level 3 in a computer-related subject or possess equivalent relevant experience or training.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver first-line technical support and user guidance.
  • Resolve ICT incidents and requests.
  • Carry out routine system maintenance.
  • Help ensure DDaT service delivery meets agreed performance targets while providing an excellent customer experience.

DDaT Support Analyst

You can help West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service by joining our friendly Service Desk team within Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT), supporting colleagues and communities across West Yorkshire.

Job Purpose: To provide high-quality technical support and guidance to colleagues, helping to ensure the effective operation, maintenance and continuous availability of ICT systems and services across the organisation.

Whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you'll work both in the office and from home as part of our 'hybrid' working model. Therefore, applicants must have a reliable home internet connection.
