Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting a Night Hygiene Operative for a busy coldstore and warehouse site in Grimsby. You will maintain cleanliness, hygiene and housekeeping to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role runs 8pm–5am, Monday to Thursday with Friday flexibility. Candidates should have reliable transport and be comfortable with physically demanding work, adhering to safety and food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hygiene, industrial cleaning, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is desirable.
• Experience in food production or FMCG environments would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work night shifts and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising doors, safety barriers, equipment, windows and infrastructure.
• Maintaining cleanliness in yard, warehouse and production areas.
• Cleaning high-level areas behind evaporators and roof void access points.
• Maintaining hygiene in loading and dispatch areas.
• Following site hygiene, health & safety, and food safety procedures.
• Completing cleaning tasks to a high standard within schedules.
• Using cleaning equipment, chemicals and PPE correctly.

Job description

Manpower are currently recruiting for a Night Hygiene Operative to join a well-established Coldstore and Warehouse Site. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping within a fast-paced environment.

Location

• Site location requires own or reliable transport
• No public transport links are available to the site

Shift Pattern

• 8pm-5am
• Monday to Thursday (Friday flexibility is also required)

Pay Rate

• £13.85ph

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising doors, safety-barriers, general safety equipment, windows, building infrastructure
• General yard tidy-up including sweeping / maintaining cleanliness throughout warehouse and production areas
• Cleaning high-level areas, including behind evaporators and roof void access points
• Maintaining hygiene standards within loading and dispatch areas
• Following all site hygiene, health & safety, and food safety procedures
• Ensuring cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed schedules
• Correctly using cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE

What We're Looking For
