Job summary

Evri Group is seeking an Operations Controller in Croydon, 20 hours per week on a permanent basis. The role involves assisting with driver pre- and de-briefs, maintaining documentation, and communicating with drivers and customers via phone and IT systems.

The position offers a salary of £12.71 per hour and requires a flexible, team-oriented approach. The role includes handling admin tasks, reporting on payments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies on site.

Responsibilities

• Driver pre-brief or evening de-brief and related admin tasks.
• Control asset management: container portal updates, daily container counts, ID badge ordering.
• Check SP payments and produce daily/monthly reports.
• Complete admin tasks and maintain filing systems, including vetting and driver setup.
• Deal with customer queries via IT systems.
• Support Manager/Supervisor with reasonable requests.
• Conform with Health and Safety policies as per site handbook and risk assessments.
• Adhere to timekeeping, attendance and appearance policies.

Job Description

Position: Operations Controller

Type: Permanent – 20 hours per week

Location: Croydon

Shift: Monday–Friday days

Salary: £12.71 per hour

What You’ll Do

You will assist in the Pre‑Brief/De‑Brief and complete Driver documentation. You will also complete and maintain company documentation. Communicate with Drivers and Customers via telephone and appropriate company IT systems.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Driver pre‑brief or evening de‑brief as required
• Control company asset management, notably container portal updates, daily container counts, key and scanner controls
• Check SP payments and issue associated daily/monthly reporting
• Complete all admin tasks and maintain a suitable filing system including SP/employee vetting, driver set‑up processes, ID badge ordering
• Deal with customer queries via Company IT systems
• Any reasonable request from a Manager/Supervisor
• All Health and Safety policies and procedures complied with (as stated in the employee handbook/displayed at the location) in line with Site Risk Assessments
• Comply with Company guidelines in relation to timekeeping, attendance, work performance, appearance and display appropriate behaviour whilst on site.
