Job summary

Voyage Care in Gloucester is recruiting a Day Support Worker to help people with brain injury and complex needs gain independence, learn life skills, and join local activities. A full UK driving licence is preferred and roles involve DBS checks.

Pay starts at £12.95–£14.95 per hour, with enhanced evening/weekend pay and overtime where applicable. Typical shifts are 08:00-15:00 and 15:00-22:00 on a rota from Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving license.
• Experience with autism, acquired brain injury and mental health needs in a care setting.
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach life skills and assist with personal care.
• Encourage access to local communities and social activities.
• Support with meals, outings to restaurants or cinema and day-to-day activities.
