Job summary

Recycling Lives Services in Workington seeks a Deputy Group Shift Leader – Day Shift to support the Group Shift Leader in running the warehouse during the day. You will ensure safety, efficiency and adherence to targets while overseeing materials handling and housekeeping.

You will supervise Warehouse Operatives, coordinate resource deployment, sustain high performance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Experienced warehouse professional with safe working practices.
• Ability to supervise and support colleagues while leading by example.
• Organised, proactive and able to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect and store incoming materials.
• Carry out quality checks on materials and maintain stock accuracy.
• Supervise and support Warehouse Operatives on shift.
• Operate forklifts and report defects and hazards.
