Job summary

Tesco Store is seeking a Shift Lead to guide a fast-paced retail team and deliver exceptional in-store experiences. You will lead day-to-day operations, coach colleagues, and ensure service standards across all store areas.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, with pay progression from £15.59 to £16.86 per hour in certain locations, and a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week (12 hours roles available in some locations).

Qualifications

Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.
A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

Lead the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
Work across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
Build positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
Confidently lead the store in the Manager’s absence.
Make balanced, flexible decisions and adapt well to change.
Coach colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
