Job summary

Tesco Shift Lead roles in the United Kingdom offer varied days and a supportive team in store. You will lead a team, ensure great customer service and smooth daily operations, with shifts scheduled around availability.

Starting pay is £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour roles. We welcome applicants 18+ and value flexibility and reliability.

Qualifications

Experience in a team lead or management position in retail.
Commitment to delivering great customer service.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.
