S&P Garages Ltd, a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer for Vans and Daimler Trucks, based in Lincoln, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join the team.

You will diagnose, repair and maintain a range of HGVs and light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards, perform servicing and MOT prep, and ensure accurate documentation and safety compliance. The role emphasizes right-first-time work and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HGV / Commercial Vehicle Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HGV mechanical, electrical and diagnostic systems.
• High standard of workmanship with a focus on safety, quality and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out diagnosis, repair and maintenance on HGVs and light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Performing routine servicing, inspections, MOT preparations and repair work.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults and complete right-first-time repairs.
• Completing all job cards and maintenance records accurately and on time.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and wheel torque standards.
• Communicating repair times and part requirements with the service desk.
