Job summary

Greenhous DAF Willenhall is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our busy workshop team. You will service, maintain and repair a range of commercial vehicles, diagnosing faults and ensuring repairs meet high standards.

Working alternating shifts, you will handle inspections, diagnostics and routine servicing, while keeping thorough paperwork and safety at the forefront. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable, with a Class 1/2 licence a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician.
• Strong knowledge of HGV mechanical systems and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Good understanding of vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently and to manufacturer and company standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance and preventative servicing.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and job cards accurately.
• Work safely and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
