Job summary

Autism Together in Wirral is seeking dedicated Day Service Support Workers to assist adults with autism in developing skills, confidence, and independence through a broad range of activities. You will join a warm, supportive team in a person-centred environment.

The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with fully paid induction training, DBS clearance, and opportunities for professional development within a leading autism charity.

  • A passion for providing high-quality support and care.
  • Must pass a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
  • Experience working with vulnerable people.

Responsibilities

  • Support adults with autism to develop skills, independence and confidence.
  • Facilitate activities across arts, crafts, swimming, gym, farming and alpacas.
  • Provide person-centred care and support in everyday activities.

Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Arts and crafts
  • Swimming and using the gym
  • Working on our farm and walking alpacas
  • Cooking and community-based activities,
  • As a Day Services Support Worker, you'll embark on a fulfilling journey, providing essential support to adults with autism. Your day-to-day will be anything but ordinary, as you facilitate a wide range of activities from creative arts and music to outdoor adventures like farming and walking alpacas. You'll be a key part of a supportive team, helping individuals build confidence and learn new skills in a person-centred environment.
